Back in January, Polaroid unveiled its plans for a new Polaroid Socialmatic camera that should, according to recent information, hit the stores just in time for the holiday season. So, if you’re a fan of old-fashioned cameras, but do live in a digital age, then this little gadget might be just for you. 🙂
The camera was designed and manufactured by Socialmatic LLC (but uses the Polaroid name under license), and comes with a 14-megapixel front camera, and a 2-megapixel rear sensor. The front camera sports a LED flash, and there’s a 4.5” LCD screen on the back of the device. What makes the camera really stand out is an integrated printer that can instantly (under a minute!) print out 2.3” photos. You can store up to 4GB worth of photos on the camera, or you can use a microSD cards to expand it even further. The camera uses the Android OS, and thanks to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity you can share your images on the go.
