The Smoke Sensor is an ultra-light, optical smoke detector, operating under the Z-Wave Plus standard. It is battery powered and designed to be placed on a ceiling or on a wall. Smoke detection is signaled with a built-in siren, blinking LED indicator and by sending commands to Z-Wave network devices. Additionally, the device is equipped with a temperature sensor, which can also trigger the alarm after detecting high temperature. The unique feature of the FIBARO Smoke Sensor is a built-in electronic recording device, for the purpose of assisting the investigation of a fire incident or accident.
